Seoraksan Trip

After Korean thanksgiving day that we call “Chuseok”, at 21 September 2013 exactly, I went to Seoraksan. Seouraksan is a mountain that located in a national park near the city of Sokcho. It’s around 1 hours from my city, Gangneung. Seoraksan has been designated as a Biosphere Preservation District by UNESCO in 1982, and in IUCN recognized its rich natural resources and labeled it category Ⅱ(National Park). There are more than 2000 fauna here, belonging rare animal such as goral, musk deer, and asian black bear.
I went there with my classmates by school bus. When we had arrived, I really amazed on it. It was totally beautiful with natural green color. In addition, rocks are like be arranged beautifully with river stream that flow slowly.
Someone tell me that it will be more beautiful if we come there in autumn. I can imagine that and I really agree. The leaves must be so colorful with red, yellow, or orange. That’s why, I think I will come there again in this autumn.

We had to walk on winding road, climb, get down the valley, and sometimes walk on rocky road, and it was making fun. Don’t be worry, because all the lane has been arranged to be safe.
We arrived in Biryeong waterfall, and it’s so wonderful. Its sound makes me feel back to the nature. We also arrived on temple with Buddha statue. Around the temple we can find many unique souvenirs.

Oh ya, in the afternoon, we got Kimbab. It’s famous Korean food. It is rice that covered by dried seaweed and the inside are meat and vegetables. Trust me, it is really delicious.
